A GROUP OF CHINESE ENTREPRENEURS VISITS OUR FACILITIES
On July 1st, the group of entrepreneurs from Shanghai along with the entourage of the City Council and Aragón Exterior visited the facilities of Bodegas Valdepablo and got interested in our products.

They tasted several of our sangrias, wine and vermouths and were impressed by our new range of Sweeter products.

From Bodegas Valdepablo we want to thank the City Council and Aragon Exterior for these initiatives, which we expect to positively impact on the economy of the companies of our area.

WHITE SANGRIA VALDEPABLO
Bodegas Valdepablo launches, together with its new range of Sweeter, a new version of its white sangria, fresh, spruced up and delicious.

In a 0.75 L format, and with a casual design, it is ideal to sip alone or to accompany any event, meal or snack.

 
FOOD AND AGRICULTURE INBOUND TRADE MISSION
From the 23rd to the 25th of June 2014, it was held in Zaragoza the Food and Agriculture Inbound Trade Mission with importers from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, a congress organized among others by Aragón Exterior and the Chambers of Commerce of Aragon.

34 Aragonese food companies attended the event to meet the foreign importers.

Consumers in these markets have high purchasing power and are open to meet new Mediterranean products, so it was an ideal opportunity to establish profitable business relationships.

Bodegas Valdepablo participated in this conference where it let the 15 foreign companies to know more about us.



 
WORK MEETING IN MERCAZARAGOZA
On May 8th, it took place in Mercazaragoza the Work Meeting between stores, distributors and food producers in the Aragonese countryside.

Organized by Pon Aragón En Tu Mesa, the aim of these congresses is to improve the marketing channels and distribution of rural food of Aragon.

Bodegas Valdepablo took part of this profitable event whose aim was to promote the local products, presenting all its vermouths, sangrías and the rest of its drinks.



 
XIII HALF MARATHON "CITY OF CALATAYUD"
As in other occasions, Bodegas Valdepablo sponsors a healthy and active lifestyle, where alcohol is drunk with moderation and education.

Last April 6th took place in Calatayud (Zaragoza) the XIII Half Marathon "City of Calatayud", where participants enjoyed a day full of sport and entertainment.

Once again, Bodegas Valdepablo contributed with a selection of products for all the participants of the event.

SANGRIA IS NOW FULLY SPANISH
The Plenary Sitting of the European Parliament decided to approve a few days ago the amends to the law of labelling and protection of geographical indications of flavored wine products, so that the name of SANGRIA alone will only refer from now on to wines produced only in Spain and Portugal.

For Spanish manufacturers of this product, as is the case of BODEGAS VALDEPABLO, this news is very important as it is finally recognized the name of Sangría as a traditional Spanish product, protecting its production in the country.

For us, who have been producing this wine for nearly a full century in the traditional way, it means a recognition of our way of working, and ensures the quality and origin of our product compared to other countries which produce similar products.

Now, Sangría is 100% Spanish! – And how!

Bodegas Valdepablo attended again an international fair of wines and spirits in China. In this case, it was the 3rd edition of the Guizhou International Alcohol Expo , which took place from the 9th to the 12th of September .

The exhibition aimed at building up a platform for the global industries of alcohol with the theme of cooperation on Global Drinks. It also opens a door of Guizhou to the world to show the province 's environment , resources and potential for development as well as the progress of Guizhou’s alcohol industry .

The main alcohol drink producers and traders from Spain , France , Italy , Australia , the U.S., New Zealand and South Africa , as well as many domestic and foreign sellers and buyers attended the event , with 3,000 international booths including 2500 for Chinese companies and 500 for foreign companies .

Bodegas Valdepablo has attended SIAL CHINA 2013 Exhibition
SIAL CHINA is one of the biggest Asian gathering spaces for the food and beverage industry, where the most important exporters, importers, manufacturers and distributors are arranged to meet.

This exhibition was held in Shanghai on May 7th-9th, drawing more than 46,000 visitors and over 2,000 exhibitors from 90 countries. The show enjoyed a very professional atmosphere in the best month in that area to buy and discover the new industry trends: may. Innovation and the latest tendencies in the food industry were presented in one of the largest events dedicated to the sector.

Bodegas Valdepablo could not miss the opportunity to attend this meeting, settling our products in the largest growing market in the world, making public the quality of our products and our unique savoir faire. We also visited our local customers, importers and distributors, whose stand we were pleased to visit, and where we could find them presenting our flagship in China: Sangria Yago.

This Asian country is one of the main targets for food exporters from the Spanish market, due to the social and economic growth this nation is undergoing.
